Laos offers the visitor
stunning natural beauty and strong spiritual tradition and
remains an undiscovered gem in Southeast Asia. Nestled in
the valleys of the mountainous north lies Luang Prabang, a
former royal capital and now a World Heritage Site. This
enchanting city, dominated by golden-roofed temples and
bright saffron-robed monks exudes a spiritual essence that
will surely capture your soul. A visit to Laos would not
be complete without a boat journey on the Mekong River to
witness the spectacular sunset. Characterized by an
eclectic mix of colonial-French buildings and ancient
temples along with colorful markets, Vientiane is ideal
for exploring by foot or bicycle.

Day 1: Vientiane
Tour of Vientiane including the temples of Vat Sisaket,
Vat Phrakeo, the impressive That Luang Stupa and the Arch
of Triumph. Enjoy an evening meal in the heart of
Vientiane, followed by an evening stroll along the banks
of the Mekong River.
Day 2: Vientiane - Luang Prabang
Morning flight to Luang Prabang for a tour of Vat Xieng
Thong, the Golden City monastery and the beautiful temples
of Vat May, Vat Vixoun and Vat That Luang. Later we
adjourn to Phousi Holy Hill to enjoy the excellent views
of the town and a colorful sunset.

Day 3: Luang Prabang
Visit the Royal Palace Museum and then a trip to the
morning market and Ban Phanom weaving village. Later we
have a boat trip on the Mekong River to the holy caves of
Pak Ou including a picnic lunch before returning to Luang
Prabang.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Vientiane
After breakfast there will be a transfer to the airport
for the morning flight back to Vientiane and your
connecting flight out of Laos.
